We pray health and peace for you during these uncertain times. We are praying for you, with you, and ask for your prayers as well.
SoulFest is scheduled (August 6-8) well beyond the reaches of current CDC recommended bans and due to the festival’s gorgeous outdoor location with abundant mountain-fresh air, we are still planning for this one-of-a-kind, life-changing celebration.
We remain in contact with Gunstock Mountain Resort, artist booking agencies and management teams, as we continue to monitor the CDC’s Covid-19 updates.
We’ll be doing our part to plan for a clean and safe environment for all – more information to come as plans develop.
Like you, we need the economy to stay strong, while we sacrifice together over the next few months. Since we’re still moving forward with our August festival, we’ll need the support of ticket buyers and donors. Because so much is uncertain for all of us, we’re offering a 25% discount on Multi-day and Single-day Tickets minimally through the end of March (code: HOPE). We remain hopeful that together, we’ll all get through this and enjoy gathering on the mountain in August.
Let’s together be people of contagious generosity. Centering around the example of Jesus, so many organizations, as well as, SoulFest, strive to help reorient the way we approach times of abundance and struggle by looking after the “least of these”. The command to love God and love our neighbor as ourselves gets to shine especially right now. So, while you’re social distancing in hopes of saving more people; we encourage you to be creative with your contagious generosity as we wait this out. We’ll be in touch as more develops.
*”Contagious generosity” is a great phrase we first heard from, board chair & medical director for Hope for the Children of Haiti, Carrie Tibbs.
